Lancome Beauty Set Haul

I went to the Lancome makeup counter.  I was shocked at how pricey the cosmetics are from this line! I was about to walk away without buying anything, until I noticed that Lancome had this beauty set. Once I played around with the set a little bit, I decided to make a purchase.

I think that Lancome products are amazing and they are highly pigmented.  However, I still cannot get over how expensive each product is. I really would not purchased anything from this makeup line unless I had a gift card (which I did), a discount or they come in a set.

CVS Haul

Below is a video of my CVS haul. I was super excited (actually, I'm still excited...lol) about this haul. As I described, I purchased a lot of beauty products that I wanted to add to my make up collection. I will post  some more pictures of these products and swatches for you guys.

Forever 21 Love & Beauty Chunky Glitter Nail Polish Set Review

 

Oh lord that is such a long title! LOL. Anyhow, this is a review of the chunky glitter nail polish set that I purchased from Forever 21.  I love that I get 7 awesome colors, which allowed me to experiment and get creative. I like how you get tiny glitters as well as large circle glitter pieces.  One downside is you do not get a lot of the large circle glitter pieces.  It really depends on how well you shake the bottle and wipe the brush before you apply the glitters on your nails.  Also, the glitters do not positioned well and evenly on your nails because you have to move the pieces around.

Another downside is you do not get full coverage on this first or few coats of glitters. I think that if you want full glitter without using a color nail polish, you really have to apply multiple coats.   Below you can see how the appearance of the glitter nail polishes on my nails with color nail polishes as the base.  I used them on tops of color nail polishes. I chose some different colors to show you guys some fun color combinations. 

I think that the glitter nail polishes look nice with color nail polishes. They add that glam factor to your nails.

 As I mentioned, they come off too light on the first coat.  Use more coats to get more fuller coverage.  However be warned, these glitter nail polishes, like any glitter nail polishes, they are a pain to take off! I had to use 3 to 4 cotton balls with nail polish remover to get these things off!  Even so, there were still large pieces still stuck on my fingers. I tried to scrape them off with my nails, but some were just stubborn, so they would not come off.  Sometimes, I would give up and I would leave them there for a few days until they washed away when I washed my hands.  I love glitter nail polishes, but I do not use them often because of the suffering that I have to endure to take them off.

Elf Product Reviews

I did a product review on Elf cosmetics.  Elf stands for eyes, lips and face. You may purchase ELF products from online at eyeslipsface.com or you may find them at your local Target or a dollar store.  These are just few of the products that I had in my possession to review.

Kindly note that I made several ELF purchases since then. I am super excited for my EPIC Elf haul of all times.  You guys definitely have something to look forward to! 

Blue French Tips

Here is how you can get the above blue french tips.  First, you start off with a light color. It can be light pink, beige or nude.  Then, add a dark blue color on the tips. Finally, you use any clear nail polish you have handy as a top coat. Viola, you are done!

Hint: you can do this with any colors. You can be creative and experiment with any colors that you have available. I think that it is about time that you make use of that disgusting color that you kept hidden away for so long.  Do not waste your nail polishes.  You purchased them, so you now should make full use of those colors.  Below are more colors that I have used in the past:

 This one is a bit different because I used a glitter top coat. It looks more glamorous, right?

Ross Haul:

If you guys have seen my Ross haul video, you would know that I made a huge purchase. I can't believe that I got great deals on all these items! I think if you are a bargain shopper, definitely hit up your local Ross store. Come on, cheaper prices on name brand items...what more can you ask for?! The downside is you have to be patient and look around.  Sometimes you really cannot find anything you like or all the great stuffs are already snatched away by other shoppers.  Also, take your time.  Leave everyone at home or go with someone that is also doing some serious shopping too!  Trust me, when you invest the time, you will not regret it!
